Where Winds Meet PC requirements: compare Steam and launcher guidance
The Steam page currently lists 130 GB minimum and 200 GB recommended storage; Everstone’s launcher guide lists 60 GB minimum and 100 GB recommended. Follow the requirement for the chosen installer and verify it again before downloading.
Two published requirement sets
The Steam page currently lists Windows 10/11 64-bit, an Intel Core i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB RAM, a GTX 1060 6 GB or RX 480 8 GB, DirectX 12, broadband internet, and 130 GB available storage as minimums. It lists an i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB RAM, an RTX 2070 SUPER, RX 6700 XT, or Arc A750, DirectX 12, and 200 GB storage as recommended. The page recommends an SSD.
Everstone's official PC launcher installation guide lists different CPU, memory, and storage requirements: its PC minimum names an i7-4770K or Ryzen 5 2400G, GTX 750 Ti/RX 550/Arc A380, 8 GB RAM, and 60 GB HDD space; its recommended tier lists an i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 2070 SUPER/RX 6700 XT/Arc A750, 32 GB RAM, and 100 GB SSD. It also states Windows 10/11 x64 and recommends SSD installation. These published pages conflict, especially on the Steam storage and minimum GPU/memory figures. This guide does not merge the sets into a fabricated universal specification.
Choose the right install path
If installing through Steam, use the live Steam requirements and reserve at least the listed space, plus additional room for updates. If using Everstone's standalone launcher, check the current official install guide and follow the matching package requirement. Both sources can change; capture the date and installer route when asking support for help. Install the current graphics driver and let the launcher finish patching before troubleshooting.
When testing a slowdown, use the same location, resolution, graphics preset, driver, and camera movement for each comparison. Record whether the problem occurs during traversal or combat, and change one option at a time. Neither published table is a benchmark, and this article has not tested the named configurations or established an ideal preset.
