NTE PC requirements: storage, memory, and first-run checks
The current Steam page lists 110 GB of storage and 16 GB RAM as minimum, with a GTX 1660-class GPU; its recommended tier asks for 32 GB RAM and an RTX 3060-class GPU. This guide summarizes the listing and separates those published specs from performance claims we have not tested.
Read the tiers before downloading
Steam currently lists Windows 10 64-bit for the minimum configuration. It names an Intel Core i7-10700 or Snapdragon X processor, 16 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 1660, Radeon RX 5600, or Adreno X1 GPU, DirectX 11, broadband internet, and 110 GB of available storage. The recommended tier lists Windows 10 64-bit or newer, an Intel Core i7-12700 or Snapdragon X2 Elite, 32 GB RAM, an RTX 3060, RX 6700, or Adreno X2 GPU, DirectX 12, and the same 110 GB storage figure.
Treat these as the store's published thresholds, not a performance guarantee. NTE is an online open-world game, so the machine, graphics settings, network quality, and current client build all affect the experience. Reserve extra free space for patches and temporary install files; Steam's listed 110 GB is not a promise that later updates will never need more.
Install and troubleshoot methodically
Use the Steam product page for the current download and requirements. Before installation, compare your Windows version and CPU/GPU model with the exact entry rather than relying on a broad “gaming PC” label. Keep the operating system and graphics driver current. On first launch, allow the client to finish its update and asset checks before diagnosing a slow load as a hardware problem.
If frame pacing is inconsistent, note the same location, camera direction, resolution, graphics preset, driver, and frame-rate behavior for each comparison. Change one setting at a time. This isolates the effect of a setting and avoids turning a practical guide into unsupported optimization advice. For network symptoms, record whether the issue is latency, disconnection, or a slow asset download; those problems do not have the same cause.
Limits of this guide
We have not benchmarked either Steam configuration, measured installation growth, or confirmed a best preset. Those recommendations require direct testing on a named PC and a dated build. The project platform label Windows / Steam is preserved exactly as supplied and identifies the Steam/Windows route covered by this requirements summary. HTH Gaming's official launch FAQ also lists an Apple Mac client, Google Play PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. The supplied label is not a complete list of NTE's official platforms; use the relevant platform's current download page for its requirements.
